Smarthomes Chattanooga, a local company, won in the Integrated Home Level I: $67,500 - $120,000 Level I Silver Technical Design. Smarthomes Chattanooga's winning entry was for a local Chattanooga residence that included several electronic subsystems.

"We are honored to receive this award. Winning in such a competitive category is confirmation to me and my staff that we are designing and installing world class systems for our clients." Steve Nicola, Smarthomes Chattanooga's owner said.

These awards, which are considered the most prestigious in the $6 billion industry, are presented annually in recognition of member companies that exemplify outstanding integration of systems and meet their clients' home technology needs. Two panels consisting of members from the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and CEDIA, evaluated the winning entries and scored them on technical merit and design/aesthetics.
