36 Month No Worries Service Policy

Our 36 month 'No Worries' Service Policy is the best in the business. If ANY component that we provided and installed in your system fails during the covered period we will "Hot Swap" that component within 24 business hours.

Our 36 month service policy is for purchases made after 11/1/2008. Purchases made before this date have a 12 month coverage. Check your contract if you are unsure which term you have.

This Service Policy is offered exclusively to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

If any component that we provided and installed in your system should fail during normal, domestic use due to a fault in materials and/or workmanship, Smarthomes Chattanooga will at its discretion adjust, repair, or replace the defective unit(s) free of charge for a period of 36 months from the date of first Beneficial Use or Substantial Completion whichever comes first.

This Service Policy does NOT cover:

1. Damage to components caused by anything other than defects in materials or workmanship.
2. Damage or defects caused by abnormal or unreasonable use (including unauthorized system modifications, repairs, and specifically, alterations by a person or party other than Smarthomes Chattanooga).
3. Damage or defects resulting from acts of nature, such as lightning strikes or floods. (These items, however, may be covered by your homeowner's or other insurance).
4. Damage or defects resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect.
5. Damage or defects resulting from improper installation, removal, or maintenance by a person or party other than Smarthomes Chattanooga.
6. Any products in which the serial number has been removed, defaced, or modified.
7. Any products, systems or solutions that use equipment not purchased and installed from Smarthomes Chattanooga.
8. Any client education/re-education more than 90 days after the date of Substantial Completion.
9. Hand held remote controls more than 90 days after the date of Substantial Completion.
10. Programming changes more than 90 days after the date of Substantial Completion.
11. Any Service calls (with the exception of a Smarthomes Chattanooga security system) outside of normal business hours, currently 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM. This includes nights, weekends and all celebrated holidays.
